An Impossible Pregnancy

An Impossible Pregnancy Denial meets supernatural certainty Wilder insists that Adrienne is pregnant soon after their relationship begins, while she believes her doctors’ earlier infertility diagnosis makes it impossible. A future she did not plan The claim intensifies her fear that the brothers have already decided how her body and life will be used.

Twins in the Cave

Twins in the Cave Birth in isolation After Lycell brings Adrienne to shelter, she gives birth to twins in the cave without the human medical care she expects. Family ties multiply The birth makes Adrienne a mother and strengthens Lycell’s connection to her, while Wilder remains absent from the delivery.

Six More Pups

Six More Pups A dangerous delivery Adrienne’s pregnancy with Lycell’s children culminates in an emergency cesarean section and the birth of six male pups. Her health is endangered The delivery leaves Adrienne critically ill, making clear that the family’s desire for a larger pack carries severe physical costs for her.

Recovery and Separation

Recovery and Separation Adrienne awakens After weeks in critical care, Adrienne wakes to learn that the six pups survived and that Drayton has been sent to Alaska. Motherhood changes her priorities She must balance recovery, nursing, and the family’s political crisis while realizing that her repeated pregnancies have made her own health uncertain.

A New Pregnancy

A New Pregnancy Hope and concern Adrienne becomes pregnant with Drayton’s child, giving him hope that he can father his own pups while the family faces a new threat. Reproduction remains political The pregnancy strengthens the pack’s prospects but adds to Adrienne’s physical burden and the brothers’ tendency to treat family growth as a strategic necessity.
